What is Talkbooks?+
Talkbooks is a conversational business management app that uses AI to process natural language inputs about financial transactions and automatically records your financial data.
How do I get started?+
Download the app, create an account with your email, verify with the code we send you, and start talking to the AI assistant. Two default entities (Me and Business) are created automatically.
Is my financial data secure?+
Yes. We use bcrypt password hashing, TLS/SSL encryption in transit, AWS infrastructure in Singapore, and device-level secure token storage.
What are the subscription tiers?+
Free ($0) for personal finance, Pro ($9.99/month) for full business features including inventory and orders, and Team ($24.99/month) for unlimited members and multi-branch support.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
Cancel through your device's app store settings (Apple App Store or Google Play). Your data stays accessible on the Free tier.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?+
Your data remains fully accessible. Some Pro features become read-only, but nothing is deleted.
Can I invite team members?+
Yes. Pro subscribers can add up to 2 members per entity. Team subscribers get unlimited members with role-based access (Manager, Staff, Viewer).
Is the AI always accurate?+
The AI is highly capable but may occasionally misinterpret inputs. We recommend reviewing entries, especially for large transactions.
What sales channels can I track?+
Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, Walk-in, Direct Message, Website, and more.
How do I delete my account?+
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account in the app, or email support@talkbooks.app. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Does Talkbooks collect my location or contacts?+
No. We do not collect location data, contact lists, photos, phone numbers, or any device identifiers beyond the push notification token.
Is there a web version?+
Yes. Access the web app at app.talkbooks.app. Available for all users.
What notifications will I receive?+
Push notifications for overdue payables, receivables, low stock alerts, and pending orders. You can control each type in Settings > Notifications.
